EWI of Tucson to award TWO Scholarships. 1- $2,500, 1-$1000.
ASIST Scholarships Application Deadline: Friday, March 31, 2026
at 11:59 PM CT
The Executive Women International Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Scholarship Program for the benefit of non-traditional students is accepting applications starting January 9, 2026. EWI of Tucson will award TWO Scholarships. 1- $2,500, 1-$1000.
The ASIST Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of nontraditional students pursuing an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree, or certification program at an accredited educational institution.
These include persons who are:
** Past high school age and who are entering a college, university, or trade school and/or the workforce for the first time.
** Non-traditional students already enrolled in a college, university, or trade school program.
**Re-training due to changes in the workplace.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
** Clearly define career goals and objectives.
** Specify the educational requirements to attain the above goals and objectives.
**Utilize re-entry programs available through colleges/universities/technology centers, community agencies and service groups or career professionals.
**18 years of age or older
** Applicants must reside within Pima county.
Applications must be completed online. Deadline for submissions is March 31, 2026, at 11:59PM CST . EWI of Tucson winners will be notified May 29, 2026 and invited to attend the scholarship program awards meeting.

The Haven has helped women heal from substance use disorders. We offer gender-specific programs designed for all women, with a special focus on those who are pregnant or parenting. Our residential treatment center and outpatient clinic welcome our members and their children with open arms. Our mission is to reunite families, rebuild communities, and strengthen mother/child bonds through the process of healing from substance use and co-occurring disorders.

PMHDC Southwest Medical Aid (PSMA) is a local Tucson non-profit dedicated to redistributing surplus medical equipment from hospitals, clinics, and emergency rooms among vulnerable populations in Southern Arizona and beyond. People unable to access proper healthcare due to financial hardship, homelessness, natural disasters, or any other unfortunate life event can turn to us for the health supplies they need. To do this, we partner with dozens of charitable organizations who help us get our inventory into the hands of whoever needs it most. We at PSMA believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and able life, and we are dedicated to giving all members of our community the ability to do so.
If you or anyone you know needs a wheelchair, walker, shower chair, or any other piece of medical equipment, please give us a call! We will do everything we can to get you the supplies you need.
